A soft drink manufacturer produced c cans of cola during the morning shift. Write an algebraic expression for how many six packs of cola can be assembled from this mornings production. Any thoughts?

If you're not sure how to form the algebraic expression, try plugging numbers in until you see the pattern.

If they made six cans, how many six-packs can they make? What process did you use to find that number?

If they made twelve cans, how many six-packs can they make? What process did you use to find that number?

If they made eighteen cans, how many six-packs can they make? What process did you use to find that number?

If they made sixty cans, how many six-packs can they make? What process did you use to find that number?

If they made two hundred fifty-two cans, how many six-packs can they make? What process did you use to find that number?

Using what you did above, how many six-packs can they make if they make c cans? ;)
