Match the system of nonlinear equation to its expected point of intersection. Write your answer before the number

________ 1. 〖y=x〗^2-2x+1 and y=-x^2+2x-1
________ 2. 〖y=x〗^2+x-6 and y=-x^2-x+6
________ 3. 〖y=x〗^2-2x-5 and y=-x+1
________ 4. 〖y=x〗^2+x-2 and y=x+2
________ 5. 〖y=x〗^2 and y=x+2

a. (2, 4), (-1, 1)
b (3, -2), (-2, 3)
c. (2, 0), (-3, 0)
d. (2, 4), (-2, 0)
e.(1,0)

Its worth seeing where you have got to and where you are stuck? Then we can help you.
If you have no idea, say that and we can suggest another step?
The purpose of the forum is to support you in your learning rather than do the work for you.

The [(y=)] is a bit odd! I presume you mean y= x^2- 2x+ 1 and y= x^2+ 2x+ 1 for the first problem.

At an intersection point both x and y are the same so we must have
y= x^2- 2x+ 1= x^2+ 2x+ 1

Notice that both sides have "x^2" and "1". Subtracting x^2+ 1 from both sides leaves
-2x= 2x. Adding 2x to both sides leaves 0= 4x. Dividing both sides by 4, 0= x.
