I just have a couple questions about this type of problem.
y = 4(x-2)^2(x+2)^3
a) Determine the x and y intercepts and excluded region for the graph of the given function.
b) Describe the behavior of the function at each x intercept that responds a repeated factor.
c) Graph the function
Ok. I know how to graph it and find all of the intercepts, but what is an "excluded region" and how do I find it?
My second question is when I find the leading term, is the "x" included in that?
(4) (x)^2 (x)^3-----is it 4x^5 or just 4^5
Thank you!
