Is the following textbook online? If so, can it be downloaded? Is there a link?

Precalculus with Unit-Circle Trigonometry by David Cohen, 3rd Edition.

Is the following textbook online? …
According to hathitrust.org, that text is not available online for free (due to copyright restrictions). Print and electronic versions are available, at libraries.

Bronx Community College Library (North Hall and Library) Bronx, NY 10453

Lehman College Library (Leonard Lief Library) Bronx, NY 10468

City University of New York NYC, NY 10021

There must be several introductory trigonometry textbooks available online. Try searching keywords, like free trigonometry textbooks pdf.

I have the actual textbook which I purchased via Amazon many years ago. I am searching for an online version. It is not available online for free. What is the price?

The only online versions that I saw referenced were at public libraries (those are free to check out).

You may ask a librarian for help locating an online version. That research service is available at the Bronx Community College's library web page. Click the Live Chat button located under the 'Ask a Librarian' subheading.

I located a number of free trigonometry texts that cover the same information as Cohen. They are available in PDF format. Here are three:

https://www.stitz-zeager.com/szct07042013.pdf (the authors won an award for this text)

https://epdf.pub/queue/trigonometry-a-unit-circle-approach.html

https://open.umn.edu/opentextbooks/textbooks/algebra-and-trigonometry

The site below offers additional, free material for trigonometry students.

http://www.freebookcentre.net/Mathematics/Trigonometry-Books-Download.html

I hope you're able to locate something useful at those links, if the librarian is unable to find an eBook version of Cohen's text.

If you already have the textbook why do you want an online version?

A job well-done! Thank you.

Most of the questions I post on this site come from this book. An online copy allows me to copy and paste questions and pictures to avoid all this typing.

… An online copy allows me to copy and paste questions and pictures …
We can paste copied text (formatting may be lost), but we may not paste image files.

You've uploaded pictures from textbooks, in the past. (I assume you took those pictures with a cell phone.) Will that still work?

It works but very inconvenient. The right angle must be found. It is very hard to photograph a desired picture from a textbook page without including small segments of other questions and/or geometric figures. It is hard to hold the textbook steady for a clear and precise picture. I prefer the copy and paste method. Do you know a math app or link that allows me to draw geometric figures, say, an ART MEMO?

Placing the book on a table may help with that.

I don't know of an app for cell phones.

When you said to use a TABLE, I started laughing. If you only knew my living situation. I have no table. Thanks anyway. You made my day.

… Not seeking pity …
Of course not. I think people understand that you're seeking a solution to an issue with taking pictures of a book with your cell phone.

I'm trying to understand the issue, so that I may offer useful suggestions.

What is the difficulty, when the book is on the bed? Are pages trying to turn or move, while you're using both hands to steady the camera? That happens to me, sometimes. I'll position on top of the book an object heavy enough to hold the page in place. (Sometimes, I need to take two pictures.)

Is the issue something else?

You hit the nail on the head. This is exactly the issue. It is just easier to copy and paste.

David Cohen stated the following:

". . . algebra and coordinate geometry that form the foundation for our work in precalculus."

Do you agree with Cohen. Why? Why not?

You need to quote the entire sentence, harpazo.

I suppose that one could learn calculus simply by knowing algebra and arithmetic, but that would be insanely difficult and would not at all track the way the subject developed. Within 50 years of Descartes's work, calculus was in full development.
