The example given is:

88 of 150 students that went to the zoo
83 of 150 students that went to the park
what is the probability of going to both the park and zoo

The answer choices are: 0.041, 0.239, 0.253, 0.245

I thought I should be able to compute like this:

(88/150)*(83/150) = 7304/22500 = 0.3246

This can be rounded to 0.325, but this doesn't match any of the options, so I must be going about this the wrong way - Any suggestions / help would be appriciated.

Thank You

Of the eighty-eight that went to the zoo-- what? Of the eighty-three that went to the park-- what?

These are not complete statements, so the "meaning" of the exercise is quite unclear. If the rest of your book is as badly expressed as is the above, it's no wonder you're confused!
