I have a home work question I have been stuck on for a few hours and I cannot figure it out!
"A company selects three computer parts to ship from a supply of 15. Two of the fifteen are known to be defective."
A) What is the probability that none of the parts shipped are defective?
B) What is the probability that at least one of the parts shipped is defective?
C)What is the probability that all of the parts shipped are defective?
For part A, I used P(A)*P(B)*P(C).
2/15= 1.3333
So,1-1.3333=.8667
(.8667)*(.8667)*(.8667)=.6510?
For Part B:
1-.6510(from part A)=.349
Part C:
.1333*.1333*.1333=.0024
Help?
