1. A number is 7 less than double a second number. The sum of the squares of these two numbers is a minimum. Determine the two numbers.

Any help appreciated.

Let x be one number
Let 2x-7 be the other number.

y = x^2+(2x-7)^2

after this i need help, assuming the above is correct :oops:
