Graph the functions: y = x^2 -2

I'm going to graph this numbers (-1,-1) ; (0,-2) ; (1,-1)

Is this right or wrong?

Your vertex (0,-2) is correct

However your roots are not

y = x² - 2

Set y = 0 to find the zeros (intercepts)

0 = x² - 2

x² = 2

x = ±√2
