Hello,
I'm trying to model a car suspension using a quarter car model. I put together differential equations and my next task is to select the state variables and formulate the system’s state-space representation, i.e. define the state-space representation matrices Α, Β, C, D (2 inputs, 6 outputs). How should I approach this and how can I define the matrices from my equations? State variables are clearly displacements x1 and x2, I am not sure about 6 outputs tho.
Thank you for your help!
