I just solved an equation and the answer came out to be

-8/-3



Is there any possible way to make that exact answer a positive??

We are supppper confused

Sure....remember that when you divide two numbers with the same sign, the result is always positive. So, (-8)/(-3) is just 8/3.
 
Think on this.

\(\displaystyle \L\frac{a}{b}\;=\;\frac{-a}{-b}\;=\;-\frac{a}{-b}\;=\;-\frac{-a}{b}\)
