Just wondering how you would graph the equation y=-2x, or how would you find the points of intersection to graph it? For my two points i get y: (0,0) and x: (0,0), but if they are both on the origin how would you graph it?

to graph y=2x use any x point.

ie x= 3

y= 2 (3)
y= 6

point is (3,6)

pick another and find a point.
plot these points and you have the line.

(0,0) is a valid point to also use and it is the intersection point.

It appears you might not be clear that orderd pairs take on the format of
(x,y) i.e the pair (3,4) means x=3 and y=4.

In the equation y = 3x If x =2, y would be 6 (2,6)
If x=4, y would be 12 (6,12)
