So we have a concentrate whose instructions include "Use full-strength or dilute ¼ cup (2 oz.) per gallon of warm water", the spray bottle which I need to fill holds 1pt. 6fl oz or 650ml, so how much do I dilute to fill that selfsame 22 FL. oz bottle? Please expound a little upon your answers, thanks.

There are 128 ounces in a gallon so adding 2 ounces of bleach to a gallon gives 130 ounces of solution. 22 ounces is 22/130= 11/65 of 130 gallons so you will need (11/65)(128)= 21.66 ounces of water and (11/65)(2)= 0.34 ounces of bleach.

That's pretty straightforward, isn't it? There are 128 ounces in a gallon so adding 2 ounces of bleach to a gallon gives 130 ounces of solution. 22 ounces is 22/130= 11/65 of 130 gallons so you will need (11/65)(128)= 21.66 ounces of water and (11/65)(2)= 0.34 ounces of bleach.
Right then, appreciated.
