Radical exponent distribution to polynomials, like "like (x + 1)^1/2"

i tried searching.. can you distribute the radical exponents to polynomials? like (x + 1)^1/2 how can i do it?

You cannot that generally. Why do you think it can be done, here? There is no such thing as a Distributive Property of Exponentiation over Addition. It doesn't exist. Don' try it.

You may wish to consult the Binomial Theorem and its fortuitous extension to fractional exponents.
