You need to get rid of the "+3" that is on the left side of the equals sign. Add -3 to both sides of the equation (since +3 + (-3) is 0): 3x + 3 + (-3) = 6 + (-3) Now, simplify by combining like terms: 3x = 3 Now....can you take it from here?
