range of the function

what is the range of the function defined by
f(x)=(1/x) +2
I think the answer is all real numbers but still not sure.

All real numbers except 2.

why except 2 but not 0?

0 is in the range of f. Take x = -1/2.

But 2 is not in the range of f. Namely because there is no value of x for which 1/x = 0.
