rate of increase of gas stations from 1973 to 1974

I need to find the rate of increase of gas stations from 1973 to 1974. Would you please let me know if I am doing this correct? Thanks

1973 = 4

1974 = 6

6-4=2

2/4= .5% or 1/2%

Thanks to both of you. I knew that just forgot to move the decimal. It was the last problem of 20 and was brain fried.
