Rectangle MATH - Finding the value of MT

In rectangle MATH, MT = 2x-12 and AH = 3x+2. What is the value of MT?

Hint: In a rectangle we know the diagonals have equal lengths.
 
i did read them, and there is no diagram to the question, so i did not know how to start the problem, but your hint helped and i now know that the given statements for MT and AH need to be set equal to each other.
