Question : What is the value of the cordinate of the solution to the system of the equations x-2y=1 and x+4y=7

I do not understand the first part of the problem a bit of confusion

They're probably asking for coordinates (plural).

Graphically, the two given equations are lines that intersect at a single point.

They want the specific (x, y) coordinates of that point-of-intersection.

In other words, they want the solutions for x and y for this system of two equations.

If you want help finding these two Real numbers, then please tell us what methods you've seen for solving systems of equations, or show your work.
