If a box of cookies costs Php50.00, how much are 2 boxes? 3 boxes? 4 boxes? and 5 boxes?
1. Express this relation by graphing.
2. Through the vertical line test, determine if it describes a function.
3. Identify the dependent and independent variables

Is the equation p(h)=(p)50.00 or p(h)=(h)50.00

unless I am mistaken, the h should be next to the 50

I have a suspicion that Php stands for Philippine dollars. It is a unit and has nothing to do with math notation.
Okay, thank you for the clarification.

So in response to the OP:
I’m going to work in reverse.
the independent variable is the one that changes the dependent variable (the dependent does not control independent)
so the two units you are working with are the boxes and cost.
which one changes the other? (Independent)
which one changes because of the other? (Dependent)

To graph, we have to have the domain and range, which would be the independent variable and dependent variable. (x,y)

after finding out which one is independent and which one is dependent, subsitute x for the independent and y for the dependent

before I explain how to graph it you need to tell me if you figured out the independent and dependent @googiewrld
