score percentages

Hey all i have exam coming up and i was trying to work out what i needed to score to get a distinction for my class. Did i work this out correctly?

assessment #1 RESULT 86% = 10% of total
assessment #2 RESULT 83% = 30% of total
assessment #3 RESULT 97% = 10%
assessment #4 RESULT 80% = 10%
FINAL TEST out of 100 and is worth 40% = ?? needed

Distinction = 83%+

8.6+24.9+9.7+8= 51.2

83 - 51.2 = 31.8

31.8/ .4 = 79.5

so i need to get 79.5/100 on test if test is worth 40% to get distinction?


any advice much appreciated and yes aware that i should always do my best but just wanted to see what i need to score.
