I am not understanding this at all. Can anyone help out?
Write the indicated number of terms for the following sequence:
a1 = 13
d = 5
n = 7

That appears to be a description of an arithmetic sequence.

a1 is the starting value.
d is the common difference. the difference between any to consecutive values.

It wants seven terms.

a1 = 13
a2 = 13+5 = 18
a3 = 18+5 = 23
a4 = ??
...
a7 = ???
