If it is like the first example - let's do a
similar but different example
... has 10 as the second term. The first term is:
\(\displaystyle t_{n+1} \, = 3t_{n} \, - \, 2\)
\(\displaystyle t_2 \, = 3t_{1} \, - \, 2\)
\(\displaystyle 10 \, = 3t_{1} \, - \, 2\)
\(\displaystyle t_1 \, = \, 4\)
