I am studying Algebra and having trouble with this problem. Thank you for any help you can offer.
x[8] * x[1] * x[-25] * x simplified is:
a) 1/x[6]
b) x[-6]
c) x[45]
d) 1/x[5]
e) x[-5]
Adding the exponents I get: 8 + 1 - 25 + 1 = -15
I keep getting x[-15] = 1/x[15] which is not an answer choice.
