slope of all lines perpendicular to y= -5/2 x

Would the slope of all lines perpendicular to y= -5/2 x be 2/5? The definition says that lines are perpendicular if and only if their slopes are negative recipricals of each other.
 
Another way to say that: Multipy them and you'll get -1

Slope -5/2
Perpendicular Slope +2/5

Multiply them (-5/2)*(2/5) = -10/10 = -1 -- Yup.
