wat is an equation of the line that passes through the point (4,-6) and has a slope of -3??? some one plzzz help me those are the choices
y= 3x+6
y=3x+6

All the answers are in the "slope-intercept" form for writing a linear equation. We can start our problem, though, by putting the information we have into the "point-slope" form:

y - (-6) = (-3)(x - 4)

Rearrange this into slope-intercept form and you'll have your answer. (Note: You may have a typo in the answers you supplied, because none of them is correct; they all have the wrong slope. I'm guessing you typed the first answer without a negative sign.)
