Its been a while since I was in school and I am looking for help solving the following equation. I do not require only the answer, but the steps to get to the answer please. Thank you in advance for your help.

A+B=10,500
B*1.5=A

Solve for A and B

A+B =10,500 ...........................................(1)
B*1.5 = A ..................................................(2)

Replace 'A' in (1) by the value in (2)

(B*1.5) + B =10,500

Factoring out 'B' _ you can write:

B * (1.5 + 1) = 10500

B * 2.5 = 10500

Continue....

A+B =10,500 ...........................................(1)
B*1.5 = A ..................................................(2)

Replace 'A' in (1) by the value in (2)

(B*1.5) + B =10,500

Factoring out 'B' _ you can write:

B * (1.5 + 1) = 10500

B * 2.5 = 10500

Continue....

Thank you so much for your help. This is a prime example of why I am going back to school.
