Solve a Fraction

I don’t understand why the sign changes from “*” to “+”

(n^2 * n)/n^2 becomes 1+ 1/n

Can someone explain in steps how he (the book writer) converted the fraction.
That would be great.

The book made an error because:

[MATH]\frac{n^2\cdot n}{n^2}=n[/MATH]
While:

[MATH]\frac{n^2+n}{n^2}=1+\frac{1}{n}[/MATH]
