Could someone please help me solve for x to come up with the maxInput(a, b, v, m, i) =

Here is he equation (not the prettiest form as I am converting it from paper to typing).

(v · i · (b − x·i·b / (a+i·x) )) / ((a + x) + i · v) ≥ m

I am very stumped, could someone help me. I also attached a photo paper of the equation if case thats easier to read.

Thank you

So you are trying to solve the inequality [math]\frac{vi\left(b-\frac{xib}{a+ix}\right)}{(a+x)+ix}\ge m[/math] for x?

The first question is, can any of the variables be negative? If not, this will be much easier than otherwise.

In any case, the first step will be to simplify the fraction. Can you show an attempt at that?
