2/x+1 + 2x - 3/x
I got to this stage;
2x^2 - x - 3 / x(x+1)
I asked myself would it factor?
(x + 1)(x - 3) = x^2 -3x + x - 3 = x^2 - 2x - 3 NO
2(x + 1)(x - 3) = 2(x^2 -2x - 3) = 2x^2 -4x - 6 NO
I also came up with 2x^2 - 2x - 3
I seem to be really struggling with trying to find a value for x?
any help much appreciated
