Solve for all real numbers of x which make the equation true.
(HINT: there are 5 values of x that make the equation true. Recall the laws of exponents; recall the importance of the discriminant.)

(x^2 + 7x + 11) ^(x^2 + 16x + 15) = 1

The second equation is raised as an exponent

I cant figure this problem out at all
if someone could help me out that would be super!

thanks!

If the left-hand side is equal to the right-hand side, then what must be the value of the power?

If the power is equal to that value, what equation do you get?

How do you solve that sort of equation?

Okay .. Sir Dennis ... I stand corrected....

No that was ignorance - failure to keep up with time (refusal to change with time.....) .
