Solving inequalities

How do you solve an inequality like this : x-1/2-9x-3/2<0
Note the \(x\cancel\le 0\) Can you explain why?
Looking at the factored form \(x^{-\frac{3}{2}}(x-9)<0\) we can see that \(0<x<9\).

x-1/2 - 9x-3/2 = 1/x1/2 - 9/x3/2 = x/x3/2 - 9/x3/2 =(x-9)/x3/2 < 0
