Solving inequality with rational equations

I have no clue how to do this: x+5/x < -x^2

Please respond as soon as possible

What are you "doing"? Please reply with the instructions, so the tutors can find appropriate lesson links for you.

(Once you've studied some lessons, so you have some "clue", you can attempt the exercise. If you get stuck, the tutors can then help you work the exercise. But they can't teach the entire topic here.)

When you reply, please also clarify the inequality. Do you mean, as you posted, "x + (5/x) < -x<sup>2</sup>", or do you mean "(x + 5)/x < -x<sup>2</sup>"?
