More Help

Hey guys i need some more help lol =)

The intsructions are as follows:

Find f(x+h) and simplify, if necessary.

F(x) = x^2 +2x +1

so far ive got:

x+h+1
------------
x+h+1

So would i just work that out to find f(x+h) and then simplify if necessary?

I really appreciate u guys taking the time to help me and i look forward to your
reply. Thanks so much and have a great day. :D

Start a new topic with new problem (Else you may find your thread to have been "split".)

To find f(x+h) just replace 'x' by 'x+h' in the given function.

In your problem:

f(x+h) = (x+h)^2 + 2*(x+h) + 1 = (x^2 + 2x + 1) + 2xh + h^2

The last step is not necessary.
