Can someone help me work out an accurate number? Or percentage please?
Situation:
If you have a population of 66million people and 26,000 of them have a cold sore but the statistics provided is per 100,000 and stated 7.54 in every 100,000 have a cold sore what is the accurate number of people who have a cold sore?
And how would I work that out?

Thanks you

Your answer is there. 26,000 have a cold sore.

Is that the exact wording of the question? Or is it something like

"If 7.54 in every 100,000 have a cold sore, what is the expected number of people with a cold sore in a population of 66million?"
