Hey! Sorry if this has been asked already, but I spent a lot of time searching and trying to solve on my own. I figured that it is a trig identity, but don't know the steps to get there. Your responses are very much appreciated. Thank you all for your time! Have a great day :)

sin^2(x) + cos^2(x) = 1​

Know this one? Multiply it by 2. See anything interesting?
