Hi everyone,
I am struggle in 95% confidence interval.
Via searching throughout the google, I still couldn't understand how to get the average of two different confidence interval.
Let's say, 100 ml ± 0.5 divide 20 ml ± 0.2, how to deal with it ?
and how if I divide 100ml ± 0.5 by 5, will it be 20ml ± 0.1 ?

Another question also make me headache.
I have 3 set of datas.
100 ml ± 0.5
120 ml ± 0.2
115 ml ± 0.9
How do I get the average with confidence interval ? What kind of formula should I apply to it ?

Thanks for helping out.

Maximum value of 100 ± 0.5 = 100.05

Minimum value of 20 ± 0.2 = 19.8

Maximum value of (100±0.5)/(20±0.2) = 100.05/19.8 = 5.0757576 = 5.076
