write an equation in point slope form for the following lines:
with a slope of 2 and a y intercept of -1.

on the test I put y-1+y-1(x-1)
I got it wrong and now trying to figure out what I did wrong?

The point slope form is
y=mx+b with b being the y intercept and m the slope, so you have
y=2x-1
