Scenario:
14 students from a high school having a total of 402 students were part of a research study to investigate the relationship between motivation and GPA. Motivation score was calculated using a self-report questionnaire filled by each student.

Part 1
- If you had been asked to conduct the sampling in this experiment, what relevant elements would you have considered to come up with reliable results? Identify at least 2 relevant elements.
Part 2
- Use the data to construct a scatter plot between motivation and GPA. Describe the relationship you observe.
- Predict the GPA of a student with a motivation score of 5. Show evidence on the scatter plot.
- Explain the degree of accuracy of your findings in the above two bullet points.
- Explain whether the relationship you have found makes sense. Does correlation necessarily imply causation?
