PLEASE LET ME NOW WHICH ONES ARE NOT CORRECT

0) Please don't post in such an eye-melting format. Thank you.

1a) Correct.

1b) Correct.

2a) Since 55/8 does not equal 6, I'm afraid I don't understand your "answer". Also, 7/8 + 6/8 is not 15/8.

2b) Seven-and-some minus less-than-three is unlikely to equal less-than-two. Also 8/6 - 5/6 is not 4/6.

3a) No.

3b) I'm going to guess that you mean (131/3) / (62/9), in which case, your answer is incorrect.

4a) Since three divides evenly into fifteen, it should have occurred to you that the denominator will cancel out, giving you a whole-number answer.

4b) I can't tell what this means.

5) No.

6) Correct.

7a) No. (Review: How many pounds are in one English ton?)

7b) Correct.

8a) Correct.

8b) Correct.

9) No; 17/16 - 14/16 is not 2/16.

10) Correct.

11) Correct.

12) Correct.

13) No. (And when you are correcting this, note that the thickness is added to both ends of the "outside" diameter. Draw a picture, if you're not sure.)

14) No. (Note: Doesn't sixteen divide into thirty-two?)

15) Correct.

16) No. If the question actually asks "how much money does each boy get?", then your value is incorrect. If the question asks, as you have posted, "how many dollars will each get?", then the answer must be "one".

17) No. (Note: Four hundred divided by four is one hundred. Less-than-four-hundred divided by more-than-four must then be less than one hundred.)

18) No.

19a) I can't tell what this means.

19b) I can't tell what this means. Are you writing different steps within the same line?

20) I can't tell what this means.

If you would like further assistance, please reply showing all of your work and reasoning, and please do it in a font I can read (or else please be patient and wait for somebody else to come online).

In the future, please do not flood the forum with twenty-seven almost-identical questions, especially if you are not going to show any work. The tutors here are volunteers, and posts such as this are generally ignored as being abusive.

Thank you for your consideration.

Eliz.
