i have a question in my homework that states:

There exists a number such that 3 times that number is to 4 as 45 more than the number is to 3. Find the number.

My question is how to set up an equation to this problem. Are they two seperate equations or are they one equation?

\(\displaystyle \L\frac{{3x}}{4} = \frac{{x + 45}}{3}\)
