Hi,
The domain of my research is Sustainable Forest Management.
Here is the data;

It's been a few weeks now ... looking for math steps and formula.
To determine damage trees based on tree felling direction.
The question; how to determine the trees coordinate within this shades.
Please help.

Thank you.
Please show us what you have tried and exactly where you are stuck.

The vertical line is x= 5.78. Any point to the right of that satisifies x> 5.79. The 45 degree line is y= x+ 92.02- 5.78= x+ 87.24. Any thing above that line must satisfy y> x+ 87.24. To determine how many trees are in that determine how many trees have x> 5.79 and y> x+ 87.24.

I’m very grateful for the reply.

I also need to determine trees affected for the rest of the area.

May I ask ... how about the rest - part 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8?
Please refer to the attached image.

Actually ... in my research; I need to determine the best tree felling direction based on minimum damage value and minimum damage volume.tree3.png

In response #3, Prof. Ivey demonstrated to you the process of calculation.

Now it is your turn to show us what you learned from that demonstration.

This is your research - need to show "original" touch!
