and was introduced to a game the other week.
its very micro-intense and has a lot of number crunching in the background.
I'm trying to work out how much of a ~"Base" amount of a resource i need so im not investing too much time in collecting too much.
which will help in so much in the long run when figuring it out when doing this equation or math again.
the amount i need to reach is exactly 193,105
each action causes me to get 15 x 2 (because of an skill i have making all actions i do doubled with results)
so every action (A = 30)
every action i have has a 24.8% on saving a resources
which is where all my math starts confusing me.
this is why I put an "~"on the base amount i need.
there are 3 recipe in this resource that i need.
all requiring a base of 15.
here's the list of resources for the recipe.
Resource A (RA)
Resource B (RB)
Resource Z (RZ) Which means nothing to the math. (because it will equal the exact amount I need in that half of the recipe)
Resource D (RC) which is the 193,105.
Final Product (FP)
And base so we know where we starting (B)
Recipe 1 (RA) = (B) =15 of (RA)
Recipe 2 (RB) = 15 of (RA) & 15 of (RZ) = 15 of (RB)
Recipe 3 (FP) = 15 of (RB) & 15 of (RC) = 15 of (FP)
every action costs a resource of 15
but 1 of my skills lets me get 2x Resources every action so every 15 i make is actually 30
This is my math so far and it just seems so wrong to me but gets me so close to an answer.
if i am ever rounding up and down in my math its because you cant use a fraction when using actions.
and im dividing twice because it takes 2 recipes to come to the point where I need a base.
6437 = 193,105/30
((6437-(6437*0.248))*30/2)/2"
1) 6,437*0.248 = 1,596
2) 6,437 - 1,596 = 4,841
3) 4,841*30 = 145,230
4) 145,230 / 2 = 72,615
5) 72,615 / 2 = 36,308
So my math is telling me ~36,308 is a ~base i need with my math.
it takes literally days to get this many resources sooo if my ~Base is off by like 1,000 it could take me another 2 or les days to get.
