Ok, i have tried and tried but no matter what My answer does not match the books answer.
If a pyramid has a base of 932 ft and a height of 657 ft, what is the volume.
1/3 b x h
932 x 657 x 3= 1,836,972 (My answer)
the books answer is 190,228,656 ft
Where am I going wrong?
please help,
Dot

Apparently, the 932 is the length of a side, not the area. The area of the base would be 932^2 (assuming it is a square base and it appears to be).

Now, multiply \(\displaystyle \frac{(932^{2})(657)}{3}\)
