I have a recommendation but I assume that you have some background in logic and set. An Introduction to Mathematical Statistics by Larsen & Marx gives one a grounding is probability&stat. SEE HERE for several buying options. I have found used book in good condition are worth a try.
The Linear Algebra is Linear Functions AND Matrix Theory, by Bill Jacob. I have a paperback edition it covers the basics as well as any text I ever used. SEE HERE
I really liked the book by Hoffman and Kunze. The book has a way of growing on you. It really is well written and may seem too rigorous at first but Hoffman and Kunze got it down right. There is a reason why this book is called the Bible for Linear Algebra
