As written in your post - It does not make sense to me.

Please review it and make sure you have posted it correctly.

Please also include - where did you find this expression? studying what subject?

my math vocabulary in English is not great since I study it in Estonian.

now i just need to find values of these expressions but I have seen them in other exercises as well

It will be helpful if you can show us an image of such a problem and describe what you are learning.

But I suspect your notation may be an alternative way to write a repeating (or recurring) decimal, which is also written with a bar over the 6, or one or two dots:

Did you simplify the given expressions?

Yes. In order to do that I needed to know what to do with 0,(6). I got my answer now and the value of the first expression is 3/4 and second one 1/2.
