I am doing this problem for an essay for class and I am cluess how to put this equation on paper. The questions which is the better buy. a square pizza measuring 8 inches by 8inches that cost $10 dollars or a round pizza with a 9 inches diameter that also cost $10 dollars. I don't know how to write out the formula to solve it.

When looking at this problem you need to know which will give you more pizza for $10. What would happen if you calculated the area of each pizza to determine which was larger?

Hint: A larger pizza is a better buy.
