I know that the value of x in this problem is 169 by exterior angle sum theorem (I extended the dashed line with the 58° angle to create a triangle). But I have to fill in this equation to solve for x. I just don't know how to come with that equation.

I think that the ellipses (...) within each pair of parentheses does NOT have to be single numbers - it could be though.

What is the sum of the exterior angles of a quadrilateral? That goes in the last blank.

Then, why would one angle be subtracted and the others added? That will tell you what angle goes in each blank on the LHS.
