A hockey team has three centres, three left wingers, and three right wingers. A hockey line consists of one centre, one left winger, and one right winger. Show all the possible player combinations. The total number of possible player combinations must be stated.

If the number of possible player combinations means the number of different hockey lines (I know nothing about hockey), then obviously there are 3 choices of centre [MATH]\times[/MATH] 3 choices of left wingers [MATH]\times[/MATH] 3 choices of right wingers.
