Hi everyone,
There's no math problem for me unfortunately, I was just wondering if anyone knew the name of a particular relationship.
I don't think it's correlation, so I thought I'd ask here.
E.g.
"7% of the general population are privately educated" and "50% of those studying at elite university are privately educated"
I feel like it would be incorrect to say here that being privately educated is correlated with going on to study at university.
In other words "X are in group A but a greater proportion of X are in group B".
Does anyone know the name of this numerical enrichment in one group over another? Is it conditional probability? Or something to do with intersects?
