I was wondering if you could help me figure out the right analysis for my research proposal.
I am comparing men, fertile women and post-menopause women on sexual disgust towards people they have seen in pictures who are objectively attractive and unattractive people. A random selection of participants will then learn about the people's reputation (either good or bad) or about their resources (plentiful or scarce) and are then asked to complete the scale again in light of this new information.
Does that mean I have three independent variables with each two levels- attractiveness (good or bad), reputation (good or bad) and resources (good or bad) and that my covariate is fertility in women?
Does that mean I should propose a three way ANCOVA? Or is the attractiveness bit not an independent variables but just something I counterbalance if that makes sense?
